Jeremy Parsons | Humor, Passion, Intensity, it all comes from the Heart - dHarmic Evolution Podcast
Featured Songs:
Things I Need To Say
Makin Things As I go

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Jeremy Parsons grew up soaking in the sounds of Texas music in the dancehalls of the Lone Star State. Jeremy was always a fan of music, but it wasn’t until his later high school years that he discovered his knack for it. Driven by his passion, he taught himself to play the guitar and began to write and perform music.

Over the past decade, Jeremy has played all over the U.S. and in Europe, including numerous venues in Texas. Pulling from the example of Texas performance artists, Jeremy loves to interact with his audience. He captivates the crowd with his genuine personality, unique humor, and heartfelt love of his occupation.

Jeremy draws from his personal experiences to create songs that are keenly perceptive and meaningful. His current single, “Burn This House Down,” paints a poignant picture of heartbreak and acceptance that still remains relatable. This song will stick with you long after your first listen. The song is currently in the IndieWorld Country Top 40. The video is nominated for a Monkey Bread Tree Film Festival award, an IMDB-sanctioned film festival.

On today’s show:

“There is no formula to this career, you just have to keep sustaining and keep doing it.”

“People ask me, where do you see yourself in 5 years, and I tell them, still playing music.”

“I grew up listening to George Strait, Bob Wills, and Western Swing.”

“I feel like there is a perfect space when I’m writing the song that I leave for the production of things.”

“I have to give credit to my Producer Michael Flanders, “I have to give credit to my Producer Michael Flanders,
PJ Shankel and 3 Hat Media.”

DE182 Storyteller Series | Drill Down

“Speak to Me” whom, or what speaks to you? - dHarmic Evolution Podcast

“Who do you think your fooling, I got a good look inside of your mystique, I’m a man who needs to know what’s doing, hey, those big brown eyes, you keep them just out of reach”

Artists mentioned on this show!

Susan Muranty DE163

Genevieve Vitanzo DE181

Darrah Brustein Featured blog from Forbes magazine: https://twitter.com/DarrahB

Darrah gave us 55 questions about how to get to know someone:

We get into some of these in this show!

Drill down Chorus: I’m gonna drill down baby, drill down deep, I wanna get to all the secrets you keep from me, drill down baby, drill down deep, I gonna be the first man who is able to reach you, now I’m able to reach you, Hey, how does it feel to have me steering your wheel, now I’m able to reach you, Hey, give me a chance I might have something to teach you!

JKO quotes:

“Isn’t it true, that we all are all able to teach each other something, if, we allow that process to unfold, don’t get so caught up in yourself and narcissistic and conceited to the fact that you have this down, you know it all and that nobody can teach you anything”

“There is always someone and often someone much younger than you, or who don’t have as much experience and the reason they can teach you something is because your not wired, the same way as they are, in problem-solving, reactions, anything that comes somebody’s way, we all process differently, so there is a world of opportunity, in just opening your mind up to every single person you encounter”

“Open up a conversation and you will learn something if you allow that process to unfold”

“There is a smorgasbord of intellectual opportunity”

Please include prayers for the people in the path of Hurricane Florence, ask the Lord Jesus to protect them with his love and kindness.

DE181 Genevieve Vitanzo | Born to Create, Nurture and Inspire both Mankind and Nature, a very special Voice in the World!

Genevieve Vitanzo, Born to Create, Nurture and Inspire both Mankind and Nature, a very special Voice in the World!

She is a Vagabond, just back from South Africa, where she spent some time out in the bush.

On today’s show:

“Elephants outside your front door, it made me stop, watch and listen.”

“In our society where we are so used to using our eyes for everything, but when you are in the bush, because so many things are camouflaged, you have to start relying on your other senses, like your sense of smell or and your sense of hearing, and your eyes are used for tracking, like looking down in the sand to see what tracks are there, and how fresh they are.”

“The first time I came back to the States after being in South Africa for 6 months I was completely overwhelmed by the onslaught of different sounds that I had previously brushed away as white noise, were all of sudden now extreme.”

“I met some friends in Cape town that found out that I was a singer/songwriter and asked me to come into a studio and do some session work.”

“If you give me something to work on that I am interested in, you will lose me, I’ll be gone for days at a time working on that one thing, I’ll be so heavily focused on it that I won’t eat or drink for like 3 days.”

Imagine if Belle had a little more growl and was a piano-playing singer/songwriter who moved to the middle of the South African bush to work with wildlife and use her music to benefit conservation.

Well, she’s real. Meet Genevieve.

Now back in the US, she’s hitting stages and gracing soundtracks again with her timeless tunes and stellar voice.

Balancing sweet and sexy, smart and sassy, Genevieve is an all-around entertainer, a charismatic and unique talent who has been wowing audiences as a singer/songwriter since first taking the stage at 6 years old. She began in music much like other musicians begin – music chose her. As a baby, she would literally wake up singing, her family tracked her down by following her voice. At age six, she taught herself to play the piano, and before reaching her teenage years, she had also mastered the clarinet, recorder, and drums. She had an amazing ability to remember music – particularly from films – and would sit at the piano for hours, alternating between recreating what she’d heard and created her own soundtracks.

Always a gifted writer, she didn’t take very long to begin putting words to the music. By 8th grade, she’d even co-written a musical.

She’s performed all over the country and overseas, singing the National Anthem at major league baseball games, Christmas carols at the White House, and original songs at venerated venues such as the Kennedy Center. Her music has been featured on TV shows, movies, commercials, and video games, and she’s lent her voice to commercials, cartoons, children’s songs, and other artists’ CDs. She even sang a Zulu lullaby for a Pampers commercial. Currently, she is working on a soundtrack for a children’s book she wrote. Occasionally, she finds time to sleep.

DE179 Storyteller Series | I AM VICTORIOUS!

Storyteller Series, I AM VICTORIOUS!

In this show James gets Heavy, but first, it’s a MAC upgrade, using the Migration assistant over wireless, a brand new computer was installed at the James O’Connor Agency headquarters!
Moving all the programs and files over to the new computer via wireless, things went very well.

James had considered changing out the drive, however researching the complexities and the noise with the new fan, it seemed like a good idea to just go for a brand new 1 Terabyte Retina, iMac 27” James uses multiple backup systems offsite, Backblaze, Dropbox, Google Drive, and iCloud. He also uses a 1 TB Seagate attached to the time machine for quick restores. (You could say he likes layers of safety!) When you create constant content 7 days a week, you need to be confident that you have fail-safes everywhere!

All Media content is on an outboard Seagate 1TB drive, that also gets backed up on the remote offsite backup services.
The story of Baphomet and the unveiling of this evil demonic statue at the Arkansas Capitol Building.

We discuss the reaction and the Evil ones and have a response to these Satanic cults and dark worship in this episode.
We are not including links on this horror show but you can find this information easily enough on Google.

The band “Mercy” was co-founded by Bishop Christine Mercy Johnson and James Kevin O’Connor and the debut is all about the very last days of Jesus. Christine was a victim of the pandemic flu attack in Great Britain in 1989, she was pronounced dead her family was making funeral arrangements while she was in the presence of the Lord at the Gates of Heaven, he told her “I am sending you back, it is not your time yet, you have work to do on my behalf”. We discuss more the process of how this album got created.
The band: Buddy Hyatt on piano and keys, Jim Hyatt on bass, James Mitchell on electric guitars, Shawn Fichter on drums, Glenn Duncan on Violin, Dobro, Acoustic guitar and other instruments as well! DE176 Laura Cheadle | Teaching us how to “Chill”

Laura Cheadle teaching us how to “Chill”, her new album reveals the beautiful heart that beats beneath the groove in her soul~

Laura Cheadle a selfless and giving young woman, she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. A passionately driven singer-songwriter who is fiercely dedicated to her artistry and never shies away from any opportunity to dive deeper into her craft simply for the sake of doing it, because that’s what she was born to do.

Join me in this celebration of Laura’s brand new release “Chill” so let’s dive in together and witness a real artists rendition of what living life on your own terms is all about. Let’s pick it up from Laura just finishing a 10 mile run at the Gym…….no wonder she can hold those notes forever!

Who is Laura Cheadle?

If you’re longing for some real music that you can feel in your heart, lyrics that speak to your soul, and a live performance with the power to blow the roof off the sky, you can stop right here. If you’re tired of all the staged choreography, blinding light shows, capes, costumes, lip-synching and auto-tunes that seems to have taken over live performances, you have found a place to rest, refresh, and renew. Welcome to the world of Laura Cheadle.

Along with her Family Band, she has opened for some of the biggest names in the business and won numerous awards, including “Best Indie Jazz/Blues Band” at WXPN sponsored Tri- State Indie Music Awards. She has performed on stages from NYC to London, appeared on 6ABC’s “Tuned In” as the very first viewer’s choice, the “NBC 10″ Show, and the National reality show “Next Great Family Band.” Laura was recently featured in Curve Magazine, named one of “100 Women We Love” in Go Magazine, and declared a “Super Woman” in South Jersey Magazine for her active Charity Work.

Never one to measure herself according to the trends of the times or the female singer “flavor of the month,” Laura has carved out her own lane since she began performing as a child, and she has done it the old-fashioned way, on pure talent. Gifted with a voice powerful enough to shake rafters, and tender enough to navigate the entire range of the emotional scale, Laura Cheadle is a singer commanding more than just a listen or a look. Her albums, like her concerts, are an experience. Inseparable from the truth of the songs she writes, the raw emotion that tears out of her reach deep into your heart with the kind of performance we now only see in films like “Woodstock.”

With a vocal style that is a mesmerizing blend of soulful blues and timeless rock with both feet planted firmly in the funk, she brings her own unique interpretation to every song she sings, regardless of the genre she takes on. Whether it’s a concert of her own material, a sophisticated cabaret show, or a monster blues jam at the close of a festival, what you see and hear is what you’ll always.

DE175 Storyteller Series | Gender Genocide

Storyteller Series, Gender Genocide

Gender Genocide

You girls gossip, like we drink Vodka, now we’re both talking trash about each other’s past, now you’re alright, and were all wrong, I hear the DJ playing, that favorite breakup song…..

I can clearly see what we’ve come to be, what made us decide, to generate those ties, it’s a heartless exercise, and it’s tearing me inside, it’s just DNA colliding its Gender Genocide

So you got a divorce and it was all his fault of course, and me I’m spitting anger unloading on a stranger, you’re on your 13th cosmo, and I’m dancing with Jack Daniels, it’s a never-ending learning journey, I’m not equipped to handle.

We used to be a perfect painting etched in colored glass, but we went crashing to the pavement, and we were shattered, then scattered, a trillion tiny shiny memories reflected through the glass, shattered then scattered, as the southern wind came whipping through our tortured torrid past…..

Why is divorce still so rampant among the countries of the world, some more than others. What country has the highest divorce rate in the world, and why? I just might have the answer in this episode!

It’s Trevor’s birthday today (July 25th) Trevor Kevin O’Connor you can check him out on DE63.

The divorce rate in the US is 53%, however, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Belgium, and Hungary are worse off with divorce rates exceeding 60% but get this, Chile has a 3% divorce rate, I may be moving to Chile today!

But the nutcracker of all nuts, “Maldives” the highest divorce rate in the world, the average local 30-year-old has already been married and divorced 3 times! and is ready for the 4th?? what??
Ironically its also a favorite destination for newlyweds looking for romance on their honeymoon!

Check out more interesting relationship stories in this one, there are some funny moments in here!

DE174 Rakale Hannah | Bliss Guide and Abundance Coach

Rakale Hannah, Bliss Guide and Abundance Coach

Rakale Hannah is a Singer/Songwriter, Life Coach, and Motivational Speaker and is preparing to release her debut Album, Other Side Of Blue.

I’d like to discuss the journey of getting to the other side of blue. I also want to discuss the message behind Ho’ponopono, and #timesup.

On this episode:

As I continued to do the work to heal my own life, people began to come to me for insight themselves and it was like my journey of self-discovery, was turning into an opportunity for me to be able to support other people, and doing what they love as well.

I am so happy now to have slowed down the wills of a few things in my life so that I can focus on my first love which is music, I am excited to be here today to talk with you, someone who is so passionate about music!”

All of “you” can be in your life, I am a person who is passionate about personal development but I am also a singer and I get to be both of those things, in my album, my passion for personal development is there, as well as my love for R&B, soulful, sexy music.

I have the capacity to hold space for the deeper work, but I like to be in forwarding motion, and that’s what I believe a life coach is”

On Growing up: “I was at Church every Sunday, Wednesday, most Friday’s, some Saturdays, and I was only allowed to listen to Gospel music as a child.”
