The problem? She wasn’t that good with English. The solution? She grabbed a dictionary and started looking up words! Talk about initiative!

Amanie takes us back to the stories behind her songs – puppy love, teenage crushes, repressed emotions.

Her father was her main influencer. Before his passing, he encouraged Melissa to make music, to sing, to write. You could easily say he was the motivator that pushed Melissa in the right direction – and we should all be thankful for him because now we get to enjoy her music!

He also teaches music to kids at the Original Music School and helps them enrich their musical backgrounds.
