Welcome back to dHarmic Evolution podcast with me, James Kevin O’Connor, singer/songwriter, audio/video artist, and master storyteller. On today’s episode, we spend our day speaking with Fiona Varner, a wonderful singer hailing from Prince George County, Maryland.
From a young age, Fiona has been a musician. Keyboards, clarinets, singing – the passion for music has always been a part of her life. Her artisanship is evident with her refusal to be boxed into any creative corner! Fiona takes pride in exploring different styles and sounds – “a good song is a good song,” after all! Her craft is her life, and we explore how she took early childhood inspiration and turned it into a wonderful career in music filled with soul and love.
Fiona has a wonderful approach to her story: “It’s a we thing, not a me thing!” And a big part of that are the people she’s worked with – from old bands to her own family. Word is her 6 year old is running the show!
Check out this episode to hear more about Fiona’s creativity and inspiration!
